'A' started from a place. After walking for 1 km, he turns to the left, then walking for $$\frac{1}{2}$$ km, he again turns left. Now, he is going in the eastward direction. Towards which direction did he originally start?

Solution

As per question he is going in the eastward direction in final left turn

so from figure we concluded that he started towards west direction
