In a certain code, JOY is written as 150 and ME is written as 36. How will FEED be written in that code?
Solution
By numbering the alphabets chronologically, i.e. A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on.
The pattern followed is that the sum is multiplied by the number of letters in the word.
Eg :- JOY $$\equiv(10+15+25)\times3=50\times3=150$$
Similarly, FEED $$\equiv(6+5+5+4)\times4=20\times4=80$$
=> Ans - (A)
