How many triangles are there in the following figure?

Solution

In this type of questions, only way is to calculate manually the number of triangles.

Tips:-

First count single triangles, then count the big triangles which have two triangles in it, the big triangles with three triangles in it and so on.

Represent it with a,b,c vertices for each triangle and then count. Otherwise there are formulae to calculate the no of triangles.
