A train having a length of 500 m passes through a tunnel of 1000 m in 1 minute. What is the speed of the train in Km/hr?

Solution

In 1 min train covers (train's length+tunnel's length)=(500+1000)=1500 m.

So,in 60 minutes train covers $$1500\times60=90000$$m or 90 KM.

So, train's velocity=90 KM/H.

B is correct choice.
