Split 69 into three parts such that they are in A.P. and the product of their smaller parts is 483.

Solution

Let the terms in A.P be (a-d), a ,(a+d) where a is the first term and d is the common difference.

A/c to question , a - d + a + a +d = 69

=>a=23

a(a - d) = 483

d= 2

Hence , the terms are 21 , 23 , 25.

So , the answer would be option d)21,23,25.
