The speed of car B is half the speed of car A. If car A covers a distance of 120 km in 1 1/2 hours, what is the speed of car B?
If car A covers a distance of 120 km in 1 1/2 hours. Then speed = $$\frac{distance}{time}$$
= $$\frac{120}{1.5} = \frac{120\times2}{3} = 80$$
Hence speed of car A = 80 kmph
Now speed of car B =Â 80 $$\div 2$$ = 40 kmph
