Let the number be x..

Now,

26% of x is 65.

means,

26/100 of x is 65.

$$\frac{16}{100} \times x = 65$$

$${16}\times x=65\times100$$

$$ x =\frac{ 65\times100}{16}$$

x = 250.

Hence, 250 is the number whose 26% is 65.
