What percentage of total students are studying in the commerce stream in all five colleges together?

Solution

As per the given table,

Total number of student studying in all the five college $$=300+250+400+350+400+450+275+325+250+400+275+300+275+250+500$$

$$\Rightarrow$$ Total number of student studying in all the five college$$=5000$$

total number of student studying in all the commerce stream in all the five college$$=1500$$

Hence the required percentage $$=\dfrac{1500}{5000}\times100=30\%$$
