$$24 - [25 - \left\{26 - (27 - \overline{28 - 29})\right\}] = ?$$

$$=24 - [25 - \left\{26 - (27 +1\right\}] $$

$$=24 - [25 - \left\{26 - 28\right\}] $$

$$=24 - [25 -(-2) ] $$

$$=24 - [25 +2] $$

$$=24 - [27] $$

$$=-3$$
