Find the seventh letter in the series (Arithmetic progression)
Statements:
I. if the first letter in the series is 2.
II. if the common difference in A.P is 3.

Solution

a =2 be the first term and b be the 7th term.

d is common difference = 3

As per Arithmatic Progression formula,

$$b=a+(n-1)\times d$$

$$=2+(7-1)\times3$$

$$=20$$

So both statements are required.

Option B is correct.
