Solution

Number of cases with auditory disorder = 871

Total number of cases in different types of special children during the year 1994-96

= 60 + 871 + 222 + 275 + 657 = 2085

=> Required % = $$\frac{871}{2085} \times 100$$

= $$\frac{17420}{417}=41.7\%$$
