A box contain equal number of 1 rupee, 2 rupee and 5 rupee coins. If the total amount is Rs 184, then how many coins of each type are there?
Solution
Let $$x$$ type of each coin is in the box.
Total amount = $$(x\times1)+(x\times2)+(x\times5)=184$$
=> $$x+2x+5x=184$$
=> $$x=\frac{184}{8}=23$$
$$\therefore$$ There are 23 coins of each type.
=> Ans - (D)
