Two different positions of the same dice are shown. Find the number opposite to the face having 4.
Solution
We shall assume the dice in fig. (ii) to be rotated so that the 5 appear at the same position as in fig. (i) and 1 appears at the same position as in fig; (i) means on Front face . Then, from the, two figures, 2 appear on the top face and 4 appear on the Bottom face.
Since, these two faces are opposite to each other, therefore, 2 is opposite of 4.
