(ii) Percentage distribution of girls in each discipline of the same college Total number of girls = 2000
The percentage of the number of girls studying in Catering discipline comparing to the total number of students in the college is
Total number of students in the college = 5000
Total number of girls = 2000
% of girls in Catering discipline = 10%
=> Number of girls studying in Catering discipline = $$\frac{10}{100}\times2000=200$$
$$\therefore$$ Require % = $$\frac{200}{5000}\times100$$
= $$\frac{200}{50}=4\%$$
