If 3714 = 17, 6933 = 34, 91125 = 72 then what should 2856 = ?

Solution

The pattern followed is that both the numbers are added and the result is divided by 3.

Eg : 37*14 = $$\frac{37+14}{3}=\frac{51}{3}=17$$

Also, 69*33 = $$\frac{69+33}{3}=\frac{102}{3}=34$$

and 91*125 = $$\frac{91+125}{3}=\frac{216}{3}=72$$

Similarly, 28*56 = $$\frac{28+56}{3}=\frac{84}{3}=28$$
