Question 25

In a certain code language, "PIN" is written as "78" and "SIN" is written as "84". How is "BIN" written in that code language?

The pattern followed is that when the alphabets are sequentially numbered, i.e. A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on.

Sum of the numbers is multiplied by 2.

PIN = $$2\times(16+9+14)=2\times39=78$$

and SIN = $$2\times(19+9+14)=2\times42=84$$

Similarly, BIN = $$2\times(2+9+14)=2\times25=50$$

=> Ans - (B)
