Given, number of male students = $$x$$
Number of female students = $$x$$% of total students
Total number students = 100
$$\Rightarrow$$ $$x+\frac{x}{100}\times100=100$$
$$\Rightarrow$$ $$x+x=100$$
$$\Rightarrow$$ $$x=50$$
$$\therefore\ $$Number of male students = 50
