Solution
$$x : y : z = 3 : 4 : 5$$
x = 3p
y = 4p
z = 5p
x + y + z = 12p
Given 12p = 96
therefore, p = $$ \frac{96}{12} $$
= 8
z = $$ 5 \times 8 = 40 $$
