If the diameter of a hemisphere is 21 cm, then what is the volume $$(in cm^3)$$ of hemisphere?
Solution
Radius of hemisphere = $$\frac{21}{2}$$ cm
=> Volume of hemisphere = $$\frac{2}{3}\pi r^3$$
= $$\frac{2}{3}\times\frac{22}{7}\times(\frac{21}{2})^3$$
= $$11\times(21)^2\times\frac{1}{2}$$
= $$\frac{4851}{2}=2425.5$$ $$cm^3$$
