Why CAT is Conducted in 3 Slots?

The CAT exam is conducted in three slots to manage the high number of aspirants and ensure smooth logistics. Dividing the test into slots helps accommodate thousands of candidates across multiple centers, reducing overcrowding and technical issues.

This approach also allows for effective proctoring and security, minimizing potential cheating or disruptions. Each slot has a unique question paper but maintains an equivalent difficulty level, with scores standardized to ensure fairness. This structure enables a more efficient and controlled examination process, providing candidates with a consistent experience nationwide while reducing administrative challenges.
