DASHCAT vs SIMCAT (posting this as someone earlier had asked me to post this)
VARC: Simcats compared to dashcats have very doable RCs with not so much inference and the questions too are straight forward(you can easily eliminate 2 options and for 3 & 4 too its easy if you have read the passage well) Dashcat's VARC is notch above the simcats and i fell the headstart RCs too are difficult than simcats.... VA part is good and at par with DASHCATs.
DILR: again simcats are easy , for someone could be in terms of set selection or maybe the LOD. usually simcats have 3/4 doable sets and probability of you picking the wrong set is very low compared to dashcats wherein if you pick one wrong set you are cooked for 40 min straight....headstart DILR is more or less on similar lines sometimes and even less
QA : alot of sitters 7-8 questions are LOD1 and which you cant expect to be in real CAT exam ( unless calcutta has something to say xd) Dashcat QA is lengthy and it demands time to check if you can do this question or not wherein simcats you can easily identify sitters and hence maximizing the score is easy...
overall if you attempt headstart mocks you are very close to simcats ...
DASHCAT 50+ = SIMCAT 75-80 score
anyone who has taken simcats can add too :)
