1. Give it one more try.This time try harder
2. This year paper was difficult, much more difficult .
3. Don't be afraid of failing again. Give it one more shot but this time prepare for other exams too like cmat cet,snap .
4.Join groups on telegram or whatsapp where students prepare , hearing about other peoples' stories and how you are not alone who is disheartened makes you feel not so alone.
5. Cheer up, it's a beautiful life. Take a break and start preparing again.

Absolutely NO! First of all , decide your ultimate goal in life. If MBA is your goal, you can try this year. But most importantly
1. An 2 hour exam is not an indicator of your real potential in life.
2. An MBA degree does not guarantee you success in life. You need to work hard wherever you go Be it IIM , any company
3. If a guy scores 99 percentile doesn't mean he is a born genius. Remember Slumdog Millionaire movie
4.My close friend appeared CAT twice and he only scored 56 percentile in 2019. He then appeared for CMAT and scored 97 percentile. Now he is studying in GIM 1st year and he got recruited by a company for a package of 14 LPA. So NEVER EVER GIVE UP on anything.
did you prepare ? Irrespective of your answer, just know that 2020 was a year of totally unguided preparation. Also the paper was totally different from any of the previous years. So don't give up on Mba. There are still a lot of exams left other than cat ,.eg. cmat, cet. start preparing for them instead. all the best and dont give up.

The fact that you got 40 percentile shouldn't be the reason you should give up on MBA, as your percentile and how well you actually do in MBA aren't related at all. Look at CAT as a standardized test, where proper analysis is required on your weaker areas and I believe coming up with systematic strategies will help you to achieve your goals. Hope you do well in your next attempt.
Giving up is not an option mate, just give your best in everything you do, rest is upto the almighty. You will make it somewhere.
