Question 132

The percentage of the boys studying in Management discipline comparing to the total number of students studying in that discipline is

Total number of students in the college = 5000

Number of students in Management discipline = $$\frac{10}{100}\times5000=500$$

Total number of girls = 2000

% of girls in Management discipline = 8%

=> Number of girls studying in Management discipline = $$\frac{8}{100}\times2000=160$$

=> Number of boys studying in Management discipline = $$500-160=340$$

$$\therefore$$ Require % = $$\frac{340}{500}\times100$$

= $$\frac{340}{5}=68\%$$

=> Ans - (D)
