If the length of a diagonal of a square is $$6\sqrt{2}$$ cm, then its area will be
Let side of the square = $$s$$ cm and length of diagonal = $$6\sqrt{2}$$ cm
=> $$(s)^2+(s)^2=(6\sqrt2)^2$$
=> $$2s^2=72$$
=> $$s^2=\frac{72}{2}=36$$ -------------(i)
$$\therefore$$ Area of square = $$s^2=36$$ $$cm^2$$
