The time for a train of length 110 metres running at the speed of 72 km/hr to cross a bridge of length 132 metres is

Solution

Speed of train = 72 km/hr

= $$(72 \times \frac{5}{18})$$ m/sec

= $$20$$ m/sec

Length of train = 110 m and length of bridge = 132 m

Using, time = distance/speed

=> $$t=\frac{(110+132)}{20}$$

=> $$t=\frac{242}{20}=12.1$$ sec

=> Ans - (B)
