For both the PGDM and PGDM IB programs in the first call selection criteria, the selection criteria are based on the CAT exam scores, which account for 100% of the written test weightage. However, a minimum of one year of work experience is required for the PGDM IB program.

Academic records from Class 10th and 12th each contribute 5%, similar to the weight given to academic diversity (specifically distinguishing between engineers and non-engineers) and gender diversity. Work experience is valued with a 10% weightage.

MDI Gurgaon Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility Criteria for various PGDM programs are given below.

Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in both Class X and Class XII.

A Bachelor's degree with a minimum duration of 3 years (for PGDM, PGDM-HRM, and PGDM-Business Analytics) or 4 years (for PGDM-IB) is required, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a university recognized by AICTE/AIU/Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Candidates in their final year of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and completing all degree requirements by June 30, 2025, are eligible to apply for PGDM, PGDM-HRM, and PGDM-Business Analytics, provided they submit proof of completion by October 31, 2025.

For the PGDM-IB programme, applicants must have at least one year of work experience as of January 31, 2025, after completing a minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree. Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor's degree are NOT eligible for the PGDM-IB programme.

MDI Gurgaon Shortlisting Process

The admission process for the 2025-27 batch of PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, and PGDM-Business Analytics at MDI Gurgaon will follow a two-stage selection process. In the first stage, candidates will be shortlisted for the WAT-GD-PI round from the complete pool of applicants who have applied before the deadline.
